How is pricing determined? 

Pricing is based on type of document, word count, complexity of data, journal or university standards, and additional services required (such as statistical analysis or publication assistance). A transparent quote is provided before starting.

REFUND POLICY FOR WRITING

At ScienceBy, every writing project is executed with meticulous care, expert involvement, and substantial time investment from our scientific writers, editors, and analysts. Therefore, once an order is placed and the writing process has commenced, payments are strictly non-refundable. However, we understand that exceptional situations may arise. In such unavoidable circumstances, the following conditions apply:

  • Refund consideration will only be initiated after the assigned work has been completed in full.

  • Partial refunds for incomplete work or change of requirements midway through the service are not permitted.

  • Authors requesting a refund must formally email a detailed justification for the request to our support team.

  • The case will be reviewed by our editorial board to determine eligibility.

  • If a refund request is approved, the refund will be initiated within 7-14 business days after the manuscript is successfully published through our publication service.

  • The exact time may vary depending on the payment gateway or the bank’s processing timeline. We will also notify the author via email once the refund has been processed.

  • A journal rejection is not considered grounds for a refund. Scientific writing and publication involve many external factors-reviewer feedback, journal scope, methodological expectations, and editorial decisions.

  • Instead of refunds, ScienceBy offers continued revision, rewriting, formatting, and resubmission to alternate journals at no extra cost until publication is achieved as per the chosen plan.

  • Refunds will be processed only after the manuscript is successfully published through the company’s publication service.

  • This ensures that both parties remain aligned toward achieving successful publication without financial loss to the team who worked on the project.

  • Revisions and support remain fully available even in cases where refund requests are under review.

  • Our priority will always be to help authors reach publication rather than terminate the project.

Important Notes:

  • Refunds are not applicable for delays caused by journal peer-review timelines, reviewer comments, or journal-specific editorial decisions.

  • Refunds are not valid for services that involve third-party charges (e.g., journal APCs, plagiarism checks, statistical consultations, translation services).

  • If the client ceases communication for more than 15 days after project delivery or revision requests, the service will be considered fulfilled and no refund will be applicable.
