REFUND POLICY FOR JOURNAL PUBLICATION SERVICES
ScienceBy provides end-to-end publication support, including journal selection, formatting, submission handling, peer-review assistance, revision support, and resubmission until acceptance based on the chosen plan. As these services involve extensive human effort and third-party editorial systems, payments for publication orders are strictly non-refundable once initiated.
However, in rare and unavoidable cases, refunds may be considered under the following terms:
Evaluation
- Refund evaluation will begin only after all tasks under the selected publication plan have been completed by our team (journal submission, revision support, resubmission, communication, etc.).
- Refunds cannot be requested midway after journal submission has started.
Authors must submit a formal email with valid reasons if they intend to request a refund.
Cases will be thoroughly reviewed by the Publication Management Committee before approval.
Conditions
Refunds will be released only after the manuscript is successfully published through the journal handled by ScienceBy.
This ensures completion of effort and prevents loss to the publication support team.
Support
- Even during refund review, publication services and journal follow-up support will continue without interruption until the final decision or publication outcome.
Important Notes:
- Refunds cannot be issued for external charges such as APCs (Article Processing Charges), journal fees, professional peer review fees, or third-party services.
- Refunds are not applicable for delays caused by journals, reviewer timelines, editorial queue, or journal communication issues.
- If the author fails to respond to journal comments, emails, or follow-up communication for 20 days or more, the service will be considered fulfilled, and no refund will apply.
